Here's a run-down of what's going on in the district this coming week:
Gandhi-King-Ikeda Exhibition Daimoku - Monday, 07.00-08.00 at Rosie's / own home
There will be a one hour daimoku session for the success of the district's plans to bring this exhibition to Dundee in 2014. You are very welcome to join us at Rosie's or chant at home. If you do any daimoku dedicated to the exhibition then please let Rosie know and she will add it to the district's collective chart. Start 7am sharp; Gongyo at 7.30.
District Daimoku - Tuesday, 19.00-20.00 at Callum's
The first of our two monthly District Daimoku sessions. This, by coincidence, will also be dedicated to the exhibition and to SGI World Peace Day which falls on the same day. Start chanting at 7pm; Gongyo at 7.15.
Planning Meeting - Thursday, 19.00-20.30 at Callum's
Everyone is welcome to contribute to the organisation of activities throughout the rest of October and November. If you would like to volunteer to host a meeting or take on a responsibility such as MC or sharing a Gosho quote, please let one of the district leaders know. Gongyo at 7.30pm; meeting to begin at roughly 7.45.
Kosen-Rufu Gongyo - Sunday, 11.00-12.00 at Dale and Donna's
The first Sunday of the month means Kosen-Rufu Gongyo, dedicated to the attainment of kosen-rufu (as the title suggests). If you can't make it along to Broughty Ferry, please consider dedicating your Sunday morning Gongyo and daimoku to the most noble cause, so central in our Buddhist practice. Gongyo starts prompt at 11am so doors open from 10.50.
If you don't know where some of these places are but would like to come along, contact one of the district leaders for more details or leave a comment below and one of us will get back to you.
